My little lovelies had the honor of being in 2 weddings in the past 2 months. Dressing up , pictures, dancing , limo rides ! They loved it ! We enjoyed watching them!

Where do I start?

Where do you start when you haven't posted in sooooo long? I start all over I guess! Hi my name is Lisa. I am a mommy and a wife, a sister, a daughter a dance teacher, a college student and a very part time blogger. Life has changed so much over the last six months. Big decisions have been made and progress is being made! This semester has been so different from my summer session. I actually have time to be a mommy and a wife! I know the chaos is yet to come but I will enjoy this time while it lasts! On the mommy front M just had auditions for the Nutcracker. She is all smiles about it! N is waiting to for his basketball season to start. N is doing great in Kindergaren and M is enjoying second grade. On the volunteer front I got my schedule to work in N class and waiting for the info on my responsubiities for the punpkin carving contest for ou schools fundraiser.Sunday I resume teaching the church cherubs which I am coordinating this year. We have one more wedding to go to next month and my husbands 40 birthday! Life is definately busy but so far so good. Everyday is a gift not a given right so I am trying to enjoy every moment, not always easy but definantely a good goal!

Faith in the little things......

This is tough ! Everything has changed so quickly! From a SAHM to a full time student.But let me clarify what I mean . School is a challenge, mommy's guilt for having to spend so much time studying away from the family is a wearing on me. BUT... If I really force myself to look at the whole picture , my kids are actually FINE! They have enjoyed so much quality time with their dad and their grandparents. I am the one who is having a hard time being away from them ! I think thats because of the pressure I am putting on myself. I had begun to lose faith in the little things. For instance N just had a BDay party and up until a few days before no one had RSVP. I began to doubt ! What if no one comes! Turns out the whole class showed! Another example is after my first midterm which I poured alot of time and effort in I got my test back marked as a D ! Dissapointment was an understatement! I was so upset I began to question and doubt that I could really do this whole back to school thing? Turns out after reviewing my test many errors on my professors part became apparent. I brought this to his attention and it turns out I had a B possibly even an A depending on the curve! So you see , I lost sight of who is really in control! God is determing my steps. Not me! But it is up to me how I respond to them! God always does what he says he's gonna do ..... I have to just have to remember to have faith even in the little things .( Thank You Honey for reminding me !)

Having a Blast !

I don't even know where to start! M had a blast at Theater Camp ! Singing , dancing, acting! They fit so much into a week of camp. They learned dances and sang songs to past and present Disney music. N just finished up Vacation Bible School and M is headed soon. I love hearing the excitement in their voices when they share all the lessons they learned . N's theme was Frogs, Friends Rely On God ! He made lots of little froggy projects, so cute! We had a Great 4th of July. We shared it with friends , neighbors and family. Lot's of food, swimming , fireworks and good company. I also managed to fit in alot of studying too. I have a midterm tomorrow! Crazy it's only my ninth day of school! And I also managed to post !
